Alcohol ink blending solution is your second liquid ally in the alcohol ink world. It lightens, blends and removes alcohol ink on a non-porous surface.

Tim Holtz Alcohol Blending Solution help to achieve lighten and blend effects on your work surface. Apply with a stamping tool that has a piece of felt, using the stamping tool you can dab the paper or press and smear/swipe. In contrast, if you apply Blending Solution directly to the work surface it has a similar effect as Isopropyl Alcohol. Drops onto alcohol ink will push the pigment aside creating a bleach-like effect.

You can dispense it onto a surface using tools such as (note: these are not included with purchase):

  • Pipette
  • Fine-tip applicator bottle
  • Measuring cup
  • Felt stamp

NEVER spray it. It must not be inhaled. Use adequate ventilation. Recommend wearing respiratory protection during use.

Isopropyl Alcohol (otherwise known as Isopropanol Alcohol or IPA)

WARNING: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

Always use Alcohol Blending Solution in a well ventilated, non-smoking area. Use only non-sparking tools. Flammable to open flame (UN 1219). Avoid prolonged contact with skin, repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.

Store in a sealed container, in a well-ventilated area. Keep cool. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition.

If ingested, contact Doctor or Poisons Info Centre Tel 13 11 26 at once. Give water to drink and do not induce vomiting. If in eyes, thoroughly rinse eyes with water for at least 10mins. If contact occurs with skin, keep to small amounts, might dry out and cause redness. If skin is irritated, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If inhaled, vapours may cause drowsiness or dizziness, and if overcome, remove from exposure and or seek medical help.
